Montgomery Expressway

Community Engagement

At the Montgomery Expressway, we are committed to building strong ties, supporting local initiatives, and creating long‑lasting benefits for the communities we serve in central Alabama. Our community engagement initiatives revolve around three key pillars:

Employee Volunteer Programs
Our team is deeply invested in our region and the people who travel our corridor daily. We empower our employees with paid time off through our Community Service Day program so they can volunteer with nonprofits, mentorship initiatives, or community events they care about. We believe every staff member should have the chance to give back in a meaningful way.

Corporate Community Support Initiatives
We support programs that reflect our values and promote economic, social, and environmental resilience. Through volunteer efforts and corporate giving, we are dedicated to supporting the growth and well‑being of the greater Montgomery area.

Local Partnerships & Sponsorships
We partner with businesses, non‑profits, and educational organizations across Autauga, Elmore, Montgomery Counties, and beyond to deliver resources, opportunities, and development. These collaborations allow us to extend our impact off the roadway and into the communities we connect.

TOGETHER, WE CAN DRIVE PROGRESS AND STRENGTHEN OUR REGIONS!

Corporate Giving Initiatives

Family Sunshine Center

The Montgomery Expressway supports the Family Sunshine Center through an annual donation, helping provide safe shelter and critical services for individuals impacted by family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Along with financial contributions, team members actively volunteer their time to support the organization’s mission. This partnership helps create a safer and more supportive environment across the Montgomery community.
